"Kept Cutting Out During My Visit"
The connection kept cutting out the whole time, which made the visit really frustrating and hard to enjoy. I wasn’t expecting it to be perfect, but it definitely shouldn’t have been that annoying. i’d appreciate an apology because it really took away from the experience

"Love this museum, but the crowd was a lot"
I booked online thinking it might make the visit a bit smoother, but it was still absolutely packed inside. I’ve always been a fan of this museum and usually recommend it to people, so I felt a little torn leaving disappointed. The paintings were great, but it was hard to actually stand and enjoy them without people constantly pushing past. Still a nice place overall, just not the relaxing experience I was hoping for this time.

"Interesting Van Gogh info, but a bit clunky"
I actually learned a few things from the site, especially the little stories behind Van Gogh’s paintings, which were interesting. That said, some pages felt kind of messy to me, and I kept clicking around more than I expected. Maybe I was just missing the obvious layout or overthinking it, but it didn’t feel super easy to use. Still, for basic learning about Van Gogh, it’s worth checking out.

It’s a nice museum, and I did enjoy walking around, but honestly, wait, I kept thinking about the ticket price the whole time. For what you actually get, it felt a bit too expensive, almost a little unfair.

I visited the museum recently and, for the most part, it was clean and well kept, especially in the main exhibit areas. I’ve been here before and remember it feeling a bit more polished, so I was a little disappointed this time. The toilets weren’t in great shape when I went, with one stall out of paper and a bit of mess around. A few of the busier spots also had some trash on the floor. It wasn’t awful by any means, but for such a popular museum, I expected it to be better maintained.

"Payment process was a bit confusing"
The overall experience was okay, but the payment part threw me off. It wasn’t super clear what I was supposed to do next, and I had to slow down and double-check everything because I wasn’t fully confident it went through properly. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like the payment steps could be a lot more straightforward

I started off thinking maybe I was just having an off day, but nope, I kept getting lost over and over. The signs didn’t make much sense, and after a while it went from mildly confusing to seriously frustrating. I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt, but getting around was a headache.

I wish I had read the reviews before going. The signs were really confusing, and it wasn’t clear at all how to get around. I ended up wasting time trying to figure out where to go, which was frustrating.

"Expected More, Felt Overlooked"
The collection felt thin and boring to me. I was expecting a lot more variety, but it just didn’t feel like much effort was put into it. Kind of felt like customers looking for something fresh were being ignored

The museum itself was fine and I didn’t have any major issues with the visit. The annoying part was dealing with customer service after. I emailed them and it took quite a while to get a response, and it kind of felt like the goalposts kept moving before I finally got a clear answer. To be fair, they did help me in the end, but it definitely wasn’t quick or very smooth

"Mobile site was really frustrating"
I tried booking tickets on my phone the site was such a pain to use. It kept freezing or randomly jumping back to the top, and the date selector was annoying. I also had to type in my details more than once, which got old really fast.
The payment page felt super buggy and slow too, so I wasn’t even sure if my booking had actually gone through. For such a well-known museum, I really expected the mobile site to work a lot better...

"i accidentally booked the wrong date and…"
i accidentally booked the wrong date and emailed them right away to fix it. their response was pretty much just no cancellations and no refunds, even though the date was still weeks away. i understand policies, but it felt really harsh and not helpful at all. they didn’t offer to change the name, give a voucher, or really work with me in any way. customer service also took a while to reply. i wouldn’t book here again

I was a bit disappointed with the artwork selection on vangoghmuseum. Since it’s the Van Gogh Museum’s site, I expected it to be easier to browse through more of his famous pieces. Some of the paintings are there, but to me it felt kind of limited and a little scattered. I had to click around more than I wanted just to find certain works. It’s not a bad site, but my experience was that the online collection didn’t feel complete enough. I was hoping for a better, more straightforward look at the art

I know it’s probably not that big of a deal, but I really did expect the online gift shop to have a lot more Van Gogh items. The selection felt limited to me, and kind of boring. A bunch of the nicer things I clicked on were either unavailable or just not really what I was hoping to find. For such a well-known museum, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect more unique gifts, prints, or even simple little souvenirs. I ended up leaving without buying anything, which was disappointing. Maybe other people had better luck, but for me, it just wasn’t worth the time.

"Waited Forever With No Clear Direction"
I ended up waiting ages, and there were barely any clear signs telling people where to go or what to do. whoever runs this needs to sort it out because it made the whole experience way more frustrating than it needed to be.

I enjoyed the museum overall and thought it was a nice place to walk through, but the gift shop was a bit of a letdown. You expect souvenirs to cost a little more, but some of the items felt really overpriced for how basic they were

There were definitely some beautiful pieces in the exhibition, but overall it felt random to me. The tone of the whole thing was hard to read, like it wasn’t sure what story it wanted to tell. I was expecting more context around the works, so I left feeling a bit confused rather than really connected to it.

"Booking was fine, but the confirmation was confusing"
I was able to book the tickets without too much trouble, but the confirmation email left me a bit unsure about what was going on. I couldn’t tell if my payment had actually gone through or if I still needed to do something else, so I ended up checking everything a few times. It worked out in the end, but it was more annoying than it needed to be for such a simple booking.

"Pretty confusing to use"
I was trying to get through the pages, but they were kind of confusing. Some of the buttons didn’t seem to work the way I expected, and I’d click something thinking it would take me one place, but then... not really. It just made the whole experience more frustrating than it needed to be.

I still remember how frustrating this was. I had tickets and was ready to go in, but they wouldn’t let me bring my small suitcase, and the cloakroom wouldn’t take it either. The staff basically just told me to find storage somewhere outside, which is not exactly helpful when you’re traveling and already on a schedule. Looking back, it felt like a complete waste of time and money. I wouldn’t go back.
